Profs & Pints: The Medieval Rise of Romantic Love

If you’ve ever analyzed a Taylor Swift bridge like it’s poetry, head to Tapville Social for an evening with UT professor Elizabeth Scala. She’ll explore how romance became tied to Valentine’s Day, how Chaucer should get more credit than St. Valentine for how we celebrate Valentine's today, and why European society didn't care about romantic love until the 12th century.

LOLO Turns 6

Lolo wine bar is turning SIX and they're having a blowout with fun collabs all weekend. Tonight, they're teaming up with Soigné Supper Club, tomorrow with Bad Larry Burger Club, Saturday with Mercado Sin Nombre, and Sunday with Lunch Money. Live music every day.

Austin FC's First Game

Austin FC is kicking off our sixth season at the end of the month! Our home opener is this Saturday against Minnesota. I just checked and you can snag a pair of tickets for under $100.

ATX Open

The ATX Open returns as Austin’s premier professional tour-level tennis tournament. You'll get to see world-class athletes play at Westwood Country Club, which is right near Mount Bonnell.

Lunar New Year Celebrations

It's the year of the horse! Head over to Paper + Craft Pantry for their 5th annual LNY Festival. There will be a pop-up market featuring Asian-owned businesses, bites and drinks, lion and dragon dances, bilingual book readings, face painting, and crafts! RSVPs aren't required but recommended.

National Margarita Day at De Nada

Okay I don't love featuring purely alcohol-based things, but De Nada will surely have a SUPER fun National Margarita Day celebration, at BOTH their locations.
