This Weekend in ATX

3/5 - 3/8

A secret listing, an ultimate chef collab between Emmer & Rye and Loro, a rainy-day activity with the kids, the ultimate pizza competition at one of my go-to spots with kids, family day at UMLAUF, the kickoff party welcoming boat season, and Lady Gaga in ATX.

LOTS to do this weekend, praying that the weather isn't too crazy! Have fun and stay safe, everyone.

Check out my newest lease listing

This one just hit the public market 30 minutes ago! Our lovely tenants are heading to NYC in April so we are ready to welcome someone else. This home is a box checker: 3 proper bedrooms, a primary ensuite with TWO closets, a garage, a fenced in yard with a deck, custom woodwork throughout, a Level 2 Tesla charger, AND walkability to spots like Springdale General and Palomino. Current tenants pay $3,250 but we are offering it for $3,200.

Breaking Bread: Emmer & Rye X Loro

Emmer & Rye continues their "Breaking Bread Chef Series" featuring collaborations with other Texas chefs. Chef de Cuisine Alexa Mejia will host Chef Mike Perez of Loro tonight, serving some special, one-night-only dishes alongside Emmer & Rye’s standard dinner menu. Reservations can be made through Open Table here.

GOAT at Alamo Drafthouse

This came out last month, but since it's going to be rainy tomorrow, this might be a cute activity to do with the kids. It's a movie with the voice of Steph Curry, and it teaches us that it's never too late to dream big. Alamo Mueller has a 3:15PM and 6:15PM showing.

Live Pizza Competition at St. Elmo

St. Elmo and Ooni are teaming up for a LIVE pizza-making competition where 15+ contestants fire up their best pies while industry judges (folks from Allday, Smalls, and Via313) and the public vote for their favorite slice! Tickets are about $30 and includes pizza, a free drink from the brewery, and ability to cast your vote in the People's Choice category.

UMLAUF Family Day: Spring Forward

UMLAUF Sculpture Garden is celebrating the the arrival of longer days with hands-on activities inspired by daylight saving time and UMLAUF’s “Torchbearers” sculpture. The program will explore how sunlight moves through nature, sparks scientific discovery and fuels creativity. Community partners will be on-site throughout the day, with storytimes scheduled for 12PM and 2PM. Club SciKidz will also host a STEM demo at 1PM.

Escape to Ski SHores

Head to Ski Shores for their kickoff event welcoming the start of lake season! They'll have a live DJ, drinks, merch, and more. Plus their amazing chicken tender baskets and ice-cold margs.

Lady Gaga at Moody Center

Lady Gaga is coming to ATX on The MAYHEM Ball for 2 nights - March 8 and March 9. Tickets aren't too insane (for Gaga), with a pair of tickets starting at around $400.

Enjoying The Weekender?
